Consultants and Actuaries

Tom is a Consultant in GRS’ Dallas, Texas office. He has more than 10 years of actuarial and benefit consulting experience. Prior to joining GRS, Tom spent ten years as a mathematics teacher where he served in multiple leadership roles including mathematics department head, assistant baseball coach, and as a peer elected representative and chairman of the school district’s teacher advisory council.

Tom works with state and local government retirement systems and retiree health care plan sponsors. His clients are located in Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Arkansas. Tom has extensive actuarial experience with defined benefit pension and OPEB plans. He provides his clients with actuarial valuations, cost impact studies related to benefit changes, projections, and actuarial audits.
