Casey Ahlbrandt-Rains, ASA, FCA, MAAA
Casey is a Consultant in GRS’ Southfield, Michigan office with more than 7 years of experience working with statewide and local public employee retirement systems. He has served clients in Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Dakota, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Casey’s primary responsibilities are the preparation of pension and OPEB valuations, covering GASB Statements Nos. 67/68 and 74/75, respectively. His work also covers experience studies and actuarial audits, for both pension and OPEB plans. Casey’s expertise includes traditional defined benefit plans hybrids, DROP programs, early retirement windows, service purchase credit, and cost analyses of proposed plan changes.
