Stephanie Sullivan, ASA, MAAA

Stephanie is a Consultant in GRS’ Southfield, Michigan office with over 10 years of experience in working with statewide and local public employee retirement systems and OPEB plan sponsors. She serves clients in Michigan, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Virginia.

Stephanie’s primary responsibilities cover pension and retiree health valuations, both funding and reporting, under GASB 67/68 and GASB 74/75. Her defined benefit pension experience includes traditional, hybrid, and DROP plan designs. In addition to valuations, Stephanie has prepared experience studies, cost proposals for benefit changes, and early retirement window plan design. With respect to retiree health valuations, Stephanie has significant experience with premium development.

Stephanie regularly prepares benefit calculations for the preparation of benefit statements and retirement processing. She also provides actuarial services for domestic relations orders, in particular EDROs, which are governed by Michigan state statutes.
